We are supplying our customers with products that meet their requirements, and continually improving the effectiveness of our quality management system.

Action

• Building and operating an organization and system to execute quality management system including quality assurance.
• Continually improving the conformance to a requirement and the effectiveness of our quality management system.
• In order to supply products that satisfy customer requirements, we set objectives and targets for each of the following items, promote improvement activities and review them in response to internal audits results.

Caring about the environment

We are engaged in the cutting-edge business of developing, designing, manufacturing and selling vacuum devices, electric furnaces and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, all the while being nurtured by a historical environment at the foot of Mt. Rokko, the warmth and beauty of the Setouchi area, and a cosmopolitan city. We are deeply aware that our business activities may irremediably affect the local community and global environment, therefore we conduct environment-friendly business activities free from dirt, waste and destruction.
For this reason, we abide by rules and standards of our own making and observe applicable laws and regulations with the aim of “healthy manufacturing.”

Shinko Seiki’s Shiga Moriyama Factory contributes to society by developing the business of designing, manufacturing and servicing vacuum pumps, vacuum equipment, and optical devices that require precision and cleanliness, based on our corporate philosophy.
On this basis, we conduct business activities under the following environmental policy in order to create great value required to our products with minimum environmental load.

Action

• We aim at reducing the environmental impact of our corporate activities by conserving resources and reducing waste.
• We observe all environment-related laws and ordinances, agreements and agreed-upon requirements.
• We define, document factory procedures, our environmental policy and targets, and we voluntarily establish control standards.
• We regularly review our environment policy, environment target and improvement activities, and we continuously improve our environment management system.
• We are very conscious of the fact that our factory is located near to Lake Biwa, therefore we make efforts to prevent environmental pollution that would inconvenience and harm the local community not only in normal times but also in emergencies such as accidents, in order to protect the beautiful and plentiful lake.
• Our employees understand the environmental policy, and move on with environmental implovement action in view of fundamental vision on the environment and product life cycle of our factory.
• Our environment policy is disclosed outside the company upon request and as necessary.
