This year marks the fourth year of the R-Gap Project Research, an industry-academia
\r\ncollaboration consortium between the Shiga Prefecture Federation of Small and Medium
\r\nEnterprise Associations and Ryukoku University. We have been participating as a judge for
\r\nthe poster session since its inception.<\/p>\r\n
R-Gap Project Research fosters students’ initiative and problem-solving skills by having them
\r\nidentify issues, conduct research, experiments, and analysis, and then present their findings
\r\nin a poster session.
\r\nThis year, 24 presentations were made.<\/p>\r\n
Judging is based on six criteria: 1) the originality and novelty of the theme, 2) the poster’s
\r\nstructure and expressiveness, 3) whether the poster was explained clearly and thoroughly, 4)
\r\nwhether the experimental and research methods were appropriate, 5) whether the results were
\r\nbased on a result, and 6) whether the poster contributes to solving real-world problems.<\/p>\r\n
This year, awards named after the judging companies are available, including our own “Shinko
\r\nSeiki Co., Ltd. Award.” The results will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 5th.<\/p>\r\n
