On Saturday, October 25th, we participated as a judge in the poster session of the “R-Gap
\r\nProject Research” held by the Shiga Prefecture Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises
\r\nAssociations and the Ryukoku University Industry-Academia Collaboration Consortium.<\/p>\r\n
The judges’ report and awards ceremony were held on Wednesday, November 5th, and the
\r\n\u201cShinko Seiki Co., Ltd. Award\u201d was presented to project theme number 2024-23, “Creating a
\r\nSatoyama with the Fragrance of Matsutake.”<\/p>\r\n
We recognized the project’s efforts to reexamine the value of the Ryukoku Forest near the
\r\ncampus through the theme of matsutake, its work in collaboration with local residents, and its
\r\ndissemination of information to ensure that the project will be passed on to future generations.
\r\nThis is a great initiative that will contribute to the SGDs.<\/p>\r\n
