On Friday, November 18, 2022, Shinko Seiki Co., Ltd. concluded a partnership agreement
on the promotion of science education with Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior and Senior High
School.

Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior and Senior High School is designated as a Super Science
High School (SSH) by the Ministry of Education and is working to develop human resources
in science and technology field.

In addition, Principal Keiji Terada promotes an educational policy of “Touching the
genuine article in the field” and conducts original classes in which the students themselves
decide themes and learn independently, called “Investigational activities.”

Since we are located next to Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior and Senior High School and,
and since the Mr.Mashimo, our president is OB of Ritsumeikan University, exchanges began
in 2019, and in fiscal 2022, steady collaborative educational collaboration was promoted, such
as holding a vacuum laboratory at “Ritsumori Summer School”, which led to the conclusion
of this partnership agreement.

On November 24, 2022, 2nd grade students of Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior High School
visited our Moriyama Factory and experienced “Manufacturing” applying the science they had
learned in the class.

In the future, we will focus our efforts on returning the results of science education to the
local community, such as supporting the research of subjects for high school students and
continuing experimental classes for elementary school students.
