Mr. Nobuyuki Terayama, a meister in our Vacuum Equipment Technical Department, has
been awarded the 2023 “Regional Award” by the Japan Fine Ceramics Association in
recognition of his contributions to the promotion of fine ceramics and related
technologies, mainly in the Shiga region, as well as to the activation of
industry-academia-government collaboration and human resource development.

The award ceremony was held on October 24th at the Innovation Creation Center
“AUREA” in Omuta City, Fukuoka and he received a plaque shield made of ceramic.
