The winners of the 2025 Ryukoku University R-Gap Project Research, Shinko Seiki Co., Ltd. Award have been decided.
On Saturday, October 25th, we participated as a judge in the poster session of the “R-Gap
Project Research” held by the Shiga Prefecture Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises
Associations and the Ryukoku University Industry-Academia Collaboration Consortium.
The judges’ report and awards ceremony were held on Wednesday, November 5th, and the
“Shinko Seiki Co., Ltd. Award” was presented to project theme number 2024-23, “Creating a
Satoyama with the Fragrance of Matsutake.”
We recognized the project’s efforts to reexamine the value of the Ryukoku Forest near the
campus through the theme of matsutake, its work in collaboration with local residents, and its
dissemination of information to ensure that the project will be passed on to future generations.
This is a great initiative that will contribute to the SGDs.
