Our dry vacuum pump received the 60th Japan Society for the Promotion of Machine Industry Award (2026) “Chairman’s Award.”
We are pleased to announce that we have received the Japan Society for the Promotion of Machine
Industry Award (Chairman: Mr. Kazuaki Kama) from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Machine
Industry (JSPMI).
The “Japan Society for the Promotion of Machine Industry Award” is awarded to those who have made
significant contributions to the development of Japan’s machinery industry through research and
development related to original, innovative, and cost-effective machinery industry technologies and the
practical application of the results.
1. Name of Awarded Technology
“The industry’s first high-durability dry vacuum pump for carbon dioxide capture”
2. Overview
The award-winning “Industry’s first high-durability dry vacuum pump for carbon dioxide capture” is a
screw type dry vacuum pump that inherits the design philosophy and know-how cultivated as a vacuum
pioneer in heavy duty applications in general industry. In addition to adopting a unique “variable pitch
lead zero edge screw rotor” and special mechanisms, it also offers excellent maintainability. Particularly
for DAC (Direct Air Capture) equipment, the pump combines high durability, able to withstand the
suction of large amounts of water and solids along with carbon dioxide, with excellent energy efficiency.
These features also make it highly compatible with general industrial applications such as industrial
furnaces and chemical plants.
We will continue to support the reduction of environmental impact and the realization of carbon
neutrality through our vacuum pumps, as well as provide products that contribute to resolving social
issues by helping to reduce labor and manpower.
