Kobe City has set forth the “Hydrogen Smart City Kobe Initiative” aimed at achieving carbon
neutrality by 2050, and is working to expand the use of hydrogen energy.

On Saturday, March 28, under the theme “Let’s Learn Together! Hydrogen Energy,” various
events were held to commemorate the Phase 2 renewal opening of the Kobe City Youth
Science Museum (Bando Kobe Youth Science Museum), allowing visitors to enjoy learning
about “hydrogen” through hands-on experiences.

Since vacuum is used for insulating liquid hydrogen in its storage tank, our company held
a “Vacuum Science Show” where visitors could think about various phenomena that occur in
a vacuum through a quiz format.
